Sometimes even the most drastic measures are useless. The traffic wardens (or residents) had not only protected the road with a no parking sign, but had also placed massive pieces of rock and stones to prevent illegal parking.
But none of this helped, the driver of the Ford Capri found the gap and parked the sports car in the prohibited zone anyway. Towing the car away, on the other hand, must have been difficult and impossible because of the obstacles, but traffic offenders were probably not dealt with so harshly 40 years ago ...
