Automotive tradition, but no classic cars in China?

China is probably one of the countries in the world with the lowest number of classic cars. The car only arrived very late and today you hardly ever see cars that are more than 20 years old.
I was therefore amazed when the navigation system of the cab that was recently supposed to take me to my hotel in Shanghai suddenly played a kind of advertising film with historical pictures of the cab company.
Unfortunately, it was impossible for me to get any information about the pictures from the cab driver.
In any case, he was extremely surprised when I sat down in the front and started to take a few pictures with my cell phone.
