There is probably only one city in the world where the racing line is completely open. Here, even a few of the crosswalks are left out, just so that the PS cars don't lose their "grip". Especially in the wet, paint is known to be much more slippery than usual.
Monaco is the city of racing, with three events taking place in the space of just over a month this year: the E-Prix, the GP Monaco Historique and the F1 GP. The automotive events are expected to generate around one billion euros for the small state. Two of the events are already in the past, with the third and certainly most spectacular event to follow in just over a week's time. Will local driver Charles Leclerc in a Ferrari take another pole, or will Verstappen do so, or will there be a surprise?
At the moment (and until November 3, 2024), around 20 classic cars from the Prince's collection are on display in the "Schlumpf Museum" in Mühlhausen. Rainer lll. in particular built up an extensive private collection, which he passed on to his son, the current Prince Albert ll.
Monaco is always worth a visit, even if a glass of draft beer costs a whopping 17 euros ...
