It is hard to imagine life without all the influencers and their so-called followers, a fad that has developed in recent years. They earn their money in the infinity of the internet with more or less good reports about God and what the world really doesn't need.
Nowadays, everyone has to show everyone where they are and what they eat anyway. Whether here or there, everything has to be posted immediately, regardless of whether it can be used against you later. As a small prime example, last year we came across a video online showing Max Verstappen in an Aston Martin Valkyrie driving through a tunnel in Monte Carlo far too fast and playing around on the display. Of course, his colleague in the passenger seat thought it was much cooler than the local police, who could clearly see the speed on the clearly visible speedometer ...
Jonas Lach started this year's Planai Classic in the oldest car, an Austin Seven from 1932, equipped with at least three GoPro cameras, which converted all the kilometers driven into millions of digital data that his more than 177,000 followers will soon be able to enjoy in their warm living rooms at home. What stood out positively, however, was his driving style, as Jonas had the little car absolutely under control and drove it to its pain threshold, much to the delight of all his new fans/followers at the side of the road.
And yes, if a YouTuber can also work on the carburetor and use a pre-war car as an everyday car, then there is definitely something good about that ...
