Super classics are still being pulled out of the barn ... or at least almost

A BMW 507 from 1957, a second-series example with Rudge wheels and optional hardtop, had been sitting in the same garage in Montreal for no less than 43 years without turning a wheel.
The car had originally been delivered to Caracas, only to arrive in Canada at the end of the 1970s. However, the car is not completely untouched, as it was repainted in the seventies in the color "Pontiac Bright Blue Metallic".
In spite of the damage that is certainly to be feared, a revival and restoration of the 507 should certainly be worthwhile, so it will be interesting to see what price the car will change hands for. The car is being sold by the descendants of the buyer at the time, who apparently owned other 507s.
The BMW will be auctioned at the "Audrain Concours Auction" on September 30, 2022, with an estimated value of USD 1.8 to 2.2 million.
