Little impact of Covid-19 expected on classic car prices (question of the week)
While classic and vintage car prices have hardly changed during the coronavirus pandemic, the medium and long-term effects of the drastic Covid-19 measures could have a greater impact on the market for classic vehicles. A lack of money, pressing debts and increased supply could put pressure on prices.
In a " question of the week" , we asked Zwischengas readers whether they believe that classic and vintage car prices will fall in the medium/long term as a result of the impact of Covid-19.
Only 16.7% believe that the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic will result in an increased supply, more willing sellers and therefore lower prices.
35.1% assume that there are still enough wealthy people and enthusiasm to support the current price level.
However, 48.3% believe that there are completely different factors that will affect prices anyway, such as a lack of new talent or environmental legislation.
Here is a graphic analysis of the 400 responses:
We have already put the next "question of the week"to the round. Now we are trying to find out whether eFuels are a solution for the Zwischengas readers to guarantee a future for the classic/youngtimer.
Of course, the evaluations of the previous "Questions of the Week" can still be read in the collection channel.
