Well, racing cars have always been on display at motor shows around the world and in the 1970s and 1980s there were even special racing car exhibitions to show off the sports cars to the eager public. It has always been important for car manufacturers to show their racing cars to the wider public.
But can we recognize racing cars from the past when they are shown outside their natural habitat? Of course, it's not always as easy as in the picture above ...
