A radiator grille that would be unthinkable today
It was elegant, without a doubt. The radiator grille on the Nash Rambler looked breathtaking.
Today, something like that would no longer be conceivable for several reasons. For aerodynamic reasons, parts that are not integrated into the bodywork should be rejected. Sharp protruding parts should also be avoided in the event of an accident with pedestrians. Even more so, however, it would probably be the subject that would make this radiator grille a "no go".
A reclining naked woman sticking her backside out at you while driving would probably be too much for modern times, even without "Me too".
However, 60 years ago, something like that was obviously still possible ...
