There's nothing like a good or at least short story
02/01/2020
Anyone strolling through the halls (and the parking garage) of the Bremen Classic Motorshow today on the opening day was able to discover many automotive stories. It is now well known that a vehicle with a well-documented (and ideally interesting) history can be worth more than a car without a "story".
The Mercedes-Benz 280 SE from 1980 (W126 model series) shown here certainly scores highly. It has only covered 69,900 km in 40 years and belonged to two doctors, first a dentist who bought the car at the age of 42, then a gynecologist. The sedan was serviced according to the checkbook and never welded.
We will not reveal the price here, nor the telephone number. Anyone interested would have to drive to Bremen.
There you can also find a Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Coupé which, despite being over 50 years old, has remained in first-hand condition to this day. Certainly a rarity!
The Bremen Classic Motorshow is still open until February 2, 2020 and is definitely worth a visit, even if you don't want to buy a Mercedes-Benz. We will of course be publishing a comprehensive review of the show.
