When dreams come true - BMW Isetta advertising film by Rolf Kauka
This is probably the only film by Rolf Kauka, who is still known today for the comics with Fix & Foxi and Lupo.
In 1955, BMW came up with a touching story to advertise the BMW Isetta.
The advertising film gives an insight into social conditions: Hardly any family could afford an automobile, and only two percent of all workers and employees owned one.
The "sleek motor coupé with the tried-and-tested 250 cubic centimeter BMW engine that the world admires" was well received.
The BMW Isetta was affordable, and finally the woman of the world could drive into town to go shopping, and the whole family could travel south in the little BMW!
