You can do it!

Mutual acceptance was already presented on the front page of the "Kronenzeitung" last Saturday. The 276 Greens of the turquoise-green government have the star of the "Planai-Classic" in their hands! After all, he also drives a Riley in "British racing green". Nobody knows where the future will take us, but let's never forget our past. At the end of the day, we shouldn't just look at museums to see where we really come from.
Classic cars are far more than just old vehicles. They are contemporary witnesses of a technical development. Driving them occasionally with love and dignity is pure driving pleasure, which at the same time is an appropriate expression of a fine historical feeling.
Ennstal-Classic GmbH, organizer of both the Planai-Classic winter rally (3-5 January) and the Ennstal-Classic (22-25 July), proves that it is possible to keep up with the times: Because in cooperation with ClimatePartner, the experts in climate protection for companies and events, the CO2 emissions generated for both events are calculated and their amount offset by recognized climate protection projects. This means that both the Planai-Classic 2020 and the Ennstal-Classic 2020 will be climate-neutral rallies! Appreciation for classic vehicles and responsibility for the climate need not be a contradiction in terms. This is also reflected in the slogan under which the events take place: "Driving in the last paradise". The freedom to drive through nature's paradise obliges us to preserve it.
This is a matter of course for the organizers Michael Glöckner and Helmut Zwickl. This is why the environmental impact is kept as low as possible and, where it does occur, will be offset by compensation projects from 2020: "We are taking responsibility and also want to send out a signal that motorsport is possible without ecological disadvantages and is therefore still entitled to social acceptance." So it really works!
