We've been through this before - Lancia Delta Integrale (Automobili Amos)
There are many super classics on display at Grand Basel at the moment. And in the middle is a dark green Lancia Delta Integrale, which seems to have a few differences to the cars built in the eighties and nineties. It has two doors and there was no two-door Integrale back then.
For comparison, we show an original Integrale on the same stand at Grand Basel.
To explain: the Automobili Amos Lancia Delta Futurista is based on an original Integrale 16V car. However, a number of modifications will then be made, 1000 new parts will be needed to create a 334 hp Futurista, which will cost a mere EUR 300,000. No more than 20 units are to be built, the first of which was presented as a world premiere at the Grand Basel.
And who is behind it? Eugenio Amos, a 33-year-old car enthusiast who has already taken part in the Paris-Dakar Rally and also owns a Ferrari F40 and other rarities. On Instagram, he explained why it had to be the Integrale: "This car means a lot to me. It represents my romantic vision in a world that is too aseptic, too fast, too unnatural and no longer tangible ... I chose the Delta because it is the car that gave me my enthusiasm for cars in the first place. I was seven years old. My father had this beautiful Delta in 'Giallo Ginestra'. I don't know why, but the car made me feel special. The memories of how the car smelled, how the Alcantara felt, how the engine sounded are still with me today ..."
