And another brand returns - IsoRivolta

The Iso brand was founded at the end of the 1930s. In 1962, the Iso Rivolta was presented as the first sports car and in the course of the sixties, the IR300 ( picture below) was followed by other sports cars such as the Grifo A3 L and the Grifo Lusso (picture above).
From the very beginning, large series engines from other manufacturers, primarily from the USA, were used, compensating for this "weakness" with elegantly designed Italian-made bodies.
The Fidia and Lele models moved away from the original design and series production was discontinued in 1974.
The brand is now set to return, driven in part by Andrea Zagato, who is known to be married to a daughter of Piero Rivolta, the son of company founder Renzo Rivolta.
At the " Grand Basel" Avant premiere , Andrea Zagato showed a part of the resulting car called IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo (the spelling IsoRivolta without spaces is not a misprint), which will have its virtual premiere in the PlayStation racing game Gran Turismo Sport on October 17, 2017.
The car is not yet finished, but at least the outlines and details of the front have already been shown in Basel. The study, which is also to be produced three times for the real world, will therefore not be a classic Granturismo like the IR300.
And so another car brand returns, after TVR, ATS, Borgward and various others that have already been revived. And, as we all know, there are several thousand more brands that could be brought back to life ...
