You always learn something new. At this year's Classic Gala in Schwetzingen , an NSU Wankel Spider from 1964 can be seen, whose first owner is said to have been James Hunt. This may well be true, as Hunt got his driver's license a week after his 17th birthday, which he celebrated in 1964. It remains unclear why he chose the NSU, but it was a fast and unusual car. However, he started his racing career in a Mini, not an NSU.
In general, there are many interesting things to see at this year's Classic Gala, such as the small cars. It is probably not the much-cited Peel P50 that is the smallest car in the world, but rather the Brütsch Mopetta.
The small cars toured the castle park yesterday, watched by the many visitors. Not all of them managed to complete the tour, however; the Frisky had to be pushed at the end.
And then there was Elvis, but he's still here today. One thing can be revealed here though, he's not alive (anymore).
It also rained yesterday at the Classic Gala, but that was yesterday. Today is sunny, a good reason to take a look at the beautiful palace park in Schwetzingen.
