The thing with the notes and labels ...
When I go to a car meeting or a Concours d'Elégance, two hearts beat in my chest. On the one hand, the cars want to be photographed as attractively as possible, and on the other, of course, you want to find out as much as possible about the vehicles.
The problem with the one is the solution to the other. It's the labels under the windshield.
In photos, these labels naturally detract from the picture, creating an unwanted contrast to the usually dark windshield.
When researching the car, these notes and any further explanations about the car are of course extremely helpful.
And because most event visitors want to learn something, these notes are to be welcomed, even if a few photos suffer as a result. But of course, as a photographer you do get upset from time to time.
A possible solution to the dilemma? Small notes, for example, which you could then use to look things up in a booklet or on a list. But for some visitors, that's just too complicated and time-consuming ...
