Summary
Between 1961 and 1967, the Siata company built an elegant, sporty coupé based on the Fiat 1300/1500 saloon. In some markets, the car was also offered by the German NSU-Fiat. The design of the coupé, of which several thousand were produced, was by Giovanni Michelotti, with 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6 liter engines being used. This report portrays a Siata Fiat 1300 Coupé 2+2 from 1962 and tells the story of the pretty small-series vehicle, supplemented by sales literature, historical illustrations and a sound sample.

The Turin-based company was mainly involved in improving the performance of Fiat models, but also began to produce its own vehicles before the war.
