Summary
The Fiat 1100-103 was manufactured and sold in Germany as the NSU-Fiat Europa, benefiting from the long production period of the original. A mature car, therefore, as confirmed by the test in the magazine 'hobby', which, with the exception of the pricing, had almost only positive aspects to report. This article reproduces the original wording of the test at the time and shows the car and its corporate brother in historical illustrations and in the sales brochure of the time.

If at all, then at all - that's what they said in Heilbronn and christened the modified NSU/Fiat-Neckar Special 'Europa'. Now, the name alone does not make Heilbronn the capital of our automotive continent, but it can bring about a swift correction of relevant regulars' table discussions. The 'Spezial' had almost been forgotten. When people talked about VW's competitors, they usually only thought of the Kadett, the 12 M and the nice little French cars. And this despite the fact that the 'Spezial' had always taken a considerable slice of the German registration pie! But now that it has blossomed into the 'Europa', it will make its claims even more loudly.
