In 1963, Hobby compiled the ten fastest sports cars in the opinion of the editors and compared them according to their characteristics. The contestants were: Aston-Martin DB 4, Chevrolet Corvette, Ferrari 250 GTO, Maserati 3500 GT, Ferrari 400 Superamerica, Jaguar Type E, Mercedes Benz 300 SL, Porsche Carrera 2, Maserati 5000 GT and Studebaker Avanti. However, it is not easy to get over the fact that the Hobby people made a mistake with the picture of the 250 GTO.
