Classic car drivers usually behave considerately and courteously on the road, stay out of the usual one-lane duels and sometimes give way to a road user when others would not.
That's a good thing! Because this is also the reason why hardly any modern driver can name examples of rebellious classic car drivers.
However, the friendliness of the classic car driver also has to do with his own assessment of the road safety of his car. It is better to leave a little more distance, to brake too early, to avoid "enemy contact". Because in the worst case, you are usually worse off in an old car than the occupants of modern high-security vehicles.
And this also keeps insurance premiums low, because accident-free drivers are the better risks from the insurer's point of view.
