A look ahead - 20 years ago in 1997
As classic car and youngtimer enthusiasts, we generally look to the past, but for once we are also looking ahead, namely to the year in which the fresh youngtimers of 2017 were created. Complicated? Not really - we mean 1997.
Until now, our magazine archive with the ADAC Motorweltissues went back to 1990, but now we have diligently digitized and added the years 1991 to 2000 to the archive. And in the magazines from 1997 we can find, among other things, the new products that we will see again next year as youngtimer newcomers, including, for example, the Mercedes-Benz A Class, the Smart or the VW Golf IV.
And while we were at it - after all, we are talking about an additional 13,492 magazine pages in the archive - we also added two volumes of our partner magazine SwissClassics Revue , i.e. the years 2014 and 2015. There are also many exciting articles to read here, for example on the Renault 4CV, Triumph TR4 or Audi Quattro.
