Car books are far from being old hat
The world is becoming more and more virtual, young people hardly read books any more and when they do, they read them electronically. This could well mean the end of the printed book, but that is not the case.
Although almost everything about old cars has been written about and photographed, hundreds of new books on the subject are still being published every year.
So we asked our readers whether this was really a need. The question of the week was:" Is the era of classic and vintage car books over?"
Just five percent are convinced that enough is enough and that only niche topics remain.
The majority, however, believe that there is room for more books, with 30% pushing for topics where good books are still lacking, 41% still see large gaps and 22% even believe that there can never be enough.
So the book will certainly be with us for quite a while, if the Zwischengas readers have their way.
