Classic car and youngtimer novices explore the joy of historic driving
The Oldtimer Galerie Toffen is trying to introduce new people to classic and vintage cars with an innovative idea. On April 7/8, 2012 (postponed to April 14/15, 2012), the " Young & Oldtimer Taster Days " will be held.
Anyone interested in buying an older car can take a test drive for a small fee (CHF 100) lasting around 30 minutes in a maximum of three vehicles, without obligation, and will also be treated to refreshments. The selection of classic cars on offer (the actual line-up is subject to change) includes classics such as the Triumph TR4, MG B, Citroën 2 CV, Austin Healey Sprite, Mercedes 180, Jaguar E Type, Ford Mustang and Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Of course, participants will be instructed accordingly before the drive and also made aware of the special features of the vehicles.
Anyone wishing to take advantage of the offer must have a valid driver's license and register in advance. The offer is attractive, as can be seen from the large number of registrations already received.
