On the road in Champagne

A few weeks ago, I was traveling in France in the Champagne region. It's not an area I visit often, but it turned out to be well worth a visit and a pleasant place to spend a vacation.
Of course, we visited the former racing circuit of Reims, whose old pits can still be admired (picture above). The city of Reims itself was also worth a detour, not only the famous cathedral is impressive.
Apart from that, we simply drove around the area a bit, wondering about the really rare old/young cars, apart from the Renault Twingo or an early Toyota RAV4, which we saw again and again.
Another thing we noticed was that although there is a church in the smallest village, there are hardly any restaurants. Even stores for everyday needs or a butcher's shop can only be found in larger towns. We were used to things being different in France ...
