Convertible drivers are the friendlier road users
Have you ever noticed this? When entering a road or pulling out of a parking space? A convertible comes along and gives you the right of way. It simply lets you enter the traffic circle or pull out into the overtaking lane in highway traffic. Without honking the horn, but with a friendly smile from the occupants.
Convertible drivers just seem to be a little friendlier on the road. Maybe it's because they are less walled in and a priori more extroverted on the road? Or does the friendliness automatically come with the joy of driving?
Just take a look - you will see far fewer unfriendly and unhelpful convertible drivers than the other way round.
So it's all the more unfortunate that the convertible is now beginning to die out for the third time ...
