Led around by the pig's nose
Well? Did you fall for it too? This Citroën van is not a rejected prototype based on a Bertoni design - but a photomontage by Dutchman Koen Beekmann. But this is exactly what it could have looked like, the HY for the second half of the sixties: the front in the style of the large "Belphégor" lorries, headlights from the Ami 6 and wheels from the ID. But such further developments never came to pass. Flaminio Bertoni died too early; the design came too late - 50 years to be precise. That is why the HY retained its distinctive "pig snout" until the end.
