The background makes the difference

A small suburban cottage, a baroque country castle or a historic old town - these are the backdrops against which a DKW Meisterklasse F89 is usually photographed. They are well-behaved, peaceful and a little staid, which suits the conservative little car perfectly. However, this is exactly what you have seen a hundred times before.
That's why a salesman in the USA has driven his 1953 sedan into a parking lot where young hotshots in powerful riot vans usually let their rear tires go up in smoke. Surrounded by abstract paintings of rubber abrasion, the gray-green DKW is suddenly surrounded by something boorish and impetuous. Yet the car on offer is as standard as it gets.
With 23 hp, the little two-stroke would need a spontaneous ice shower to be able to perform similarly wild pirouettes - and rear-wheel drive. Nevertheless, the photos make it look as if it can do this effortlessly. It's all a question of staging.
