There are supposed to be people who find life in a mountain village like Vicosoprano boring. Well, yesterday at least the streets of the small hamlet on the Maloja Pass were very varied. Within a few minutes, an NSU Prinz L (pictured above), ...
... a Ferrari 250 GT SWB, ...
... a Porsche Carrera RS ...
... and a pre-war Bentley.
Well, that wasn't all a coincidence, because the British Classic Car Meeting was running its rally with around 100 British classics in the direction of Chiavenna, which may explain the Bentley. The other cars, however, were on the road as part of other events or simply privately. The photographer was pleased and so were the spectators at the roadside.
P.S. The British Classic Car Meeting concludes today, Sunday, with the Concours d'Elégance in the garden of Suvretta House in St. Moritz.
