Off-road vehicles also have classic car potential
01/26/2015
More and more frequently, off-road vehicles are appearing at renowned auctions and vying for the favor of the bidding public. Despite this, the useful 4x4 vehicles have rarely appeared on the classic car scene. Yet their modern descendants, the SUVs, are very popular.
Are off-road vehicles undervalued? Will we soon see a Jeep Wagoneer or an early Range Rover next to a Toyota Land Cruiser at concours events? Are 4x4 vehicles also becoming fashionable in the classic car sector? That's what we wanted to know from Zwischengas readers in our last question of the week and the verdict was clear.
Around two thirds of all readers who voted on the question of the week give the off-road vehicle a good chance in the classic car sector and assume that this vehicle category will gain in popularity, which will lead to rising prices.
Only a third do not give the off-road vehicle any chance of a major increase in value.
The next "Question of the Week" has already been launched. This time we want to know whether Zwischengas readers think the auction prices are real or inflated.
All evaluations of the previous "Questions of the Week" are summarized in a topic channel.
