Would you like to have a "double coupé for steering from the inside" (illustration above), a "three-quarter limousine" or a "coupé omnibus"? In the early days of motorization, there were a large number of body shapes and designs that had to be differentiated neatly. Accordingly, the trade journals of the time offered clarification in the form of large-format overview pages and fine-grained explanations.
However, the 21 variants shown here were only half of the 42 body styles to be distinguished. The complete overview, including the corresponding explanations, can be found in Deutscher Motorradfahrer No. 40/1906 in the Zwischengas archive .
