What does Skoda actually have to do with Hispano-Suiza?
When you think of the Skoda brand, it is not primarily luxury vehicles that come to mind. In contrast, Hispano-Suiza was known for luxury cars.
When Skoda decided to enter the production of expensive vehicles in the 1920s, they realized that they lacked any experience. To fill this vacuum, the company quickly bought a license to reproduce one of the best-known cars of the time: the Hispano Suiza H6B.
The first Skoda Hispano Suiza H6B (25/100 hp) were built in 1925. By 1930, a total of 101 examples of this licensed model had been delivered.
The car pictured above was on display at this year's Rétromobile in Paris , which we reported on in detail.
