Traffic jams of yesteryear
02/16/2012
Traffic jams have actually always existed. In fact, in almost all eras there were more vehicles at certain times than the available traffic area could cope with. And in principle, road construction has always lagged behind traffic development .
The pictures shown here are all from the 1960s and it is not only the fact that we can see historical documents of traffic jams in the lowlands and in the mountains that make these pictures interesting, but also the vehicles depicted.
But who is able to identify all the (reasonably recognizable) vehicles depicted? Yes, of course, the omnipresent VW Beetle is easy to recognize, but what about the far more exotic vehicles?
