Classic cars and public transport

Who says that automobiles and railroads are at odds with each other? On the contrary, especially in the case of classic cars, the two "opponents" can complement each other very well.
At the Arosa ClassicCar, for example, visitors to the race were able to use the railroad to get to various points on the hill climb route.
Many classic car owners also like to load their vehicles onto the train again and again so that they can cover long distances without wear and tear and without stress, and then enjoy the classic car carefree at their vacation destination.
And vintage racing cars and, in this case, the Rhaetian Railway can also be combined very nicely photographically, as the above masterpiece by Balz Schreier shows.
We have published extensive coverage of the Arosa ClassicCar hill climb, from which the photo originates.
