Similarities, differences or the people's Royce

Well, admittedly, the comparison is a bit of a stretch. The top picture shows the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Drophead Coupé from 1967, the ancestor of the Rolls Royce / Bentley Corniche built over decades.
The second picture shows the VW 1500 Cabriolet from 1962.
One carries its engine with a displacement of over six liters at the front, while the other hides its air-cooled 1.5-liter engine in the rear. The difference in size is a good one meter in length and 20 centimetres in width.
However, both are two-door four-seater convertibles that do not hide their hood in the bodywork. And if we look at the rear design, we can see some interesting similarities, such as the design of the lamps.
In any case, both of these rare convertibles are fun to drive, even if one is probably quite superior to the other in terms of comfort, for which, however, you will have to invest considerably more money if you decide to buy one.
