In the Iso production hall in 1963
The Iso Rivolta was manufactured, or rather assembled, in Bresso near Milan. Renzo Rivolta did not build the engines himself, but took them over from Chevrolet. The picture above shows the Iso production hall in 1963 with Iso Rivolta sports coupés in their final state. The factory looks surprisingly tidy.
A corner of the hall is somewhat more chaotic in the second picture, with a wide variety of parts waiting to be installed.
The finished vehicle, equipped with the Chevrolet "Small Block" engine and gearbox, de-Dion rear axle in the rear and Jaguar four-disc brakes, can be seen in the third picture.
A beautiful example of the Iso Rivolta drove last weekend in Arosa on the occasion of the Arosa ClassicCar 2011 hill climb.
