Der moderne Bugatti hat den Motor vor der Hinterachse. So ist es seit den frühen Neunzigerjahre und gilt es für die Serienfahrzeuge. Doch bereits 1993 wurde am Genfer Autosalon eine viertürige Limousine mit Frontmittelmotor gezeigt, die fast in Produktion gegangen wäre. Doch es sollte nicht so sein. Auch die Nachfolger, von denen es mehrere gab, hatten keinen Erfolg. Dieser Bericht erzählt die Geschichte des Bugatti EB 112.

Der Bugatti EB110 erlebte einen kurzen Moment der Blüte, tauchte ab in die dunklen Abgründe und hat, erneut ins Rampenlicht gestellt, eine fulminante Rehabilitation hinter sich. Einer, der dem EB110 schon seit langem ergeben ist und der ihm auch schon über viele Kilometer die Treue hält, ist der ehemalige Schweizer Lotus- und Caterham-Importeur Fredy Kumschick.
