With two limousines at the Swiss Classic World
We had actually planned to show the Opel GT AL, which we had photographed for the cover and the main article in the current SwissClassics Revue magazine (issue 3/2026 ), at our stand at the Swiss Classic World in Lucerne (from May 29 to 31, 2026).
However, the Opel was ultimately not available and so we had to change our plans.
However, the alternatives are just as exciting, as they are a Fiat 131 Abarth Rally and a Ford Lotus Cortina, i.e. two saloons. They would probably be better described as sports saloons, both of which achieved many international racing successes. The Fiat became world rally champion, the Ford won touring car titles. Both still have a large fan base today.
Naturally, the two cars have rear-wheel drive and significantly higher performance values than the normal family versions. And with red and white, the Swiss national colors are also covered. That makes for a really nice picture (see above).
And these two cars also have an additional role on our stand, namely to draw attention to the Zwischengas annual magazine, which will be published at the end of the year and will be dedicated to the topic of "limousines" in a wide variety of forms. That will be exciting!
