In times when people are worried about the next generation of classic car enthusiasts, it's easy to think about how to get women more interested in our rusty hobby.
However, the next generation of women was already a topic of discussion 40 years ago because very few women learned the mechanic's trade, for example. Ann-Kristin Borg, for example, was the only woman among 14 men in Ernst Nilsson's garage in Farsta near Stockholm. This did not have a negative impact on efficiency, but it was certainly a challenge for Ann-Kristin, as Automobil Revuereported at the time .
