If not, then you have nothing to be ashamed of. Back in 1979, this prototype was thought to be a possible Renault R3 with a transverse engine, but it never appeared. The Twingo, which followed a similar concept, came much later.
The Fiat Panda would probably have been the closest match in terms of timing, but Giugiaro's design was much more minimalist, with completely flat windows all round and a much higher beltline.
So we can only assume that the car never went into series production, but perhaps our readers know more?
