Who remembers the Arista Passy?
The small manufacturer under Raymond Gaillard called the Arista Passy , built from 1955/1956 until the mid-sixties, a car for the elite in the field of sporty automobiles.
The engine and other components were taken from current Panhard models , which meant front-wheel drive and 42 hp from a displacement of 851 cm3. With a length of 4.4 meters, the Passy offered space for four people (details can be found in the technical data ).
Arista vehicles were elegant, light thanks to their plastic bodywork, comparatively fast and, above all, expensive, at least as far as the Passy was concerned. As a result, sales fell short of expectations.
