The 20th Ennstal-Classic once again claimed its victims. There were again a number of retirements for technical reasons. The heavy rain was hard on drivers and technology.
Added to this were the cold deformations, which had mostly mild consequences this year. On the grid in Gröbming at seven o'clock on Friday morning, a Bentley tore a major scratch into the fender of the Aston Martin Speed Type C from Italy, which has only been built nine times.
And the factory BMW 503 from 1956 shown at the beginning lost an "eye" somewhere. A slip on a wet road was the reason for this expensive mishap. And for the sake of completeness, we are of course also showing the vehicle with the "original" front.
