The guest list at the Eifeler Hof in Adenau (Germany) was impressive.
Almost the entire Grand Prix field stayed at the hotel in 1935. Names such as Carracciola, von Brauchitsch, Stuck, Rosemeyer, Neubauer, Dr. Porsche and many more were registered as guests here.
For the time, the hotel had a lot to offer. The postcard advertised 120 beds, an elevator, a cinema, a heated swimming pool, an Aeroform hall (indoor tennis court), a sunbathing terrace and a sunbathing lawn.
The question is, however, whether the racing drivers of the time had more time to make use of the hotel facilities than today's F1 drivers.
