Three weeks to go until the Hockenheim Historic 2011
03/24/2011
On April 15-17, 2011, historic racing cars will once again drive around the Hockenheimring with thundering engines and create a pure racing atmosphere on the occasion of the Hockenheim Historic - in memory of Jim Clark .
The program promises many highlights. As usual, the thrilling battles between the Formula Junior racing cars in the FIA Lurani Trophy will leave no one indifferent, and the historic Formula 2 promises to bring back forgotten times from the 70s. The big eight-cylinder cars will make the air shimmer in the Motodrom in the Super Sports Cup and the battle of the midgets in the Coppa Abarth 1000 Mille will probably be decided as usual in a close duel. The Youngtimer Car Challenge and the HTGT, as well as the Special Touring Car Trophy, will also be back.
The Formula 1 cars will not be missing either.
And that's not all, details can be found here.
So there is something for everyone, even for fans of historic racing transporters! This is not only exciting for truck fans, but for anyone interested in racing, because when else can you see the Fiat 642 RN 2 Bartoletti transporter, which Scuderia Ferrari had built in 1957, the Ford Transit, which is shown in Porsche ruby red equipped with a Monoposto, a Taunus Transit FK 1500, the Mercedes-Benz L 710 from 1964 with a Volvo Amazon or the Mercedes-Benz DB 1113 model?
We will be there and for once will be reporting our impressions from a spectator's rather than a driver's perspective in a detailed and richly illustrated report .
