A paradise for influencers, but also for sports car enthusiasts
01/30/2026
We already wrote about the fact that a lot has changed at the Rétromobile Paris . However, there is now an additional exhibition that only opened yesterday but will only be open to the general public from January 30 to February 1, 2026. This exhibition is called "Ultimate Supercar Garage" and the name says it all.
On display are high-performance sports cars of the present day, regardless of the type of drive. Renault, for example, is showing the Renault 5 Turbo 3E.
As is well known, the topic of hyper and super sports cars is very topical and hardly any "influencer" in the scene can afford to miss this exhibition. The first day of the exhibition on January 29, 2026 was therefore exclusively open to VIP/media/influencers.
In addition to well-known brands such as Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Lamboghini, Lotus, Maserati, Pagani, etc., lesser-known sports cars are also on display, either based on familiar platforms or completely redesigned but equipped with mass-produced components.
For example, the British Nichols Nia with Chevrolet V8 and manual gearbox with road approval (!) is modeled on the CanAm racing cars of the late 1960s, but weighs less than 900 kg and should certainly be exciting to drive with over 700 hp on the rear axle. And at around EUR 500,000, the price is not at all out of this world.
Automobili Mignatta from Italy follow a similar concept. We have already reported on this manufacturer in our review of "Auto e Moto d'Epoca" 2025 .
In any case, the classic manual transmission is a central theme of the exhibition, with "Officine Fioravanti", for example, offering the conversion of the Alfa Romeo 8C (and its derivatives) to manual transmission.
Bertone is using the "Ultimate Supercar Garage" for the public premiere of the Runabout , which we have already written about.
And, in case many people think that these supercars have little to do with the Rétromobile, it should be said that there are of course also real classics on display, from the Ferrari F40 to the Lamborghini Countach and the aforementioned Bertone Runabout from the sixties. In Halls 7.1 to 7.3 of the Rétromobile, there are also plenty of new cars and young cars to see, the ratio of old to young is simply the reverse of the Ultimate Supercar Garage.
