The test editors of Super Stock & Drag Illustrated even had the coveted three-carburetor battery of their Plymouth Road Runner A12, including the intake spider and dual spark ignition, stolen overnight.
Access to the engine compartment was effectively restricted with a lock from the accessories. Although this cost time during the pit stop, it saved worries in everyday life.
