Accident? Take a break... with Coke!

It's always nice to meet up with old friends. Especially when you don't meet them at the supermarket checkout or at the hotel buffet - but in an old issue of Auto Motor und Sport. There it hides in the top right-hand corner of the picture in a horde of Wiking cars: the Coca-Cola truck from Matchbox with the number 37B, which already enriched the street scene in your own childhood bedroom.
Here it serves merely as a backdrop for an inner-city accident scene, which in turn is used as a motif in an advertisement for the new Kodak Instamatic 100, which fits into any normal glove compartment and is therefore perfect for securing photographic evidence after a collision with an enemy. There were plenty of accidents in my nursery back then. I never photographed any of them. But there was always refreshment within reach - even if only in my mind.
