Winter driving training is not everyone's cup of tea (question of the week)
01/02/2023
Winters are getting shorter and shorter, and classic cars are (in some cases) becoming more and more rust-resistant. Some classic car owners are thinking about driving their old cars in winter too or registering for a winter rally. Winter driving safety training courses are a good way to prepare for these special circumstances. With a " question of the week" , we wanted to find out whether these training courses meet a need.
The question was: Would you take part in a winter driving course with your own classic car?
As many as 10.1 percent are very open to such training opportunities, while a further 12.2 percent could imagine attending such training, but the training course would have to be reasonably priced and easily accessible.
9 percent would not attend such training, even though they also drive their old car in winter.
The majority of 67.6 percent, however, generally refrain from using their classic/youngtimer in winter and therefore have no need for such training.
2.2 percent did not agree with any of the answers.
However, with around a fifth of all almost 280 respondents, interest in such training courses appears to be intact.
Graphically, the answers look like this:
Of course, we have already sent out a " question of the week" for the new year . It is simply: "What will the classic car year 2023 be like?
Previous "Questions of the Week", or rather the answersto them , can of course be viewed at any time in the corresponding topic channel.
