The right car for Santa Claus?

Santa Claus is a sought-after figure. Not only do he receive thousands of wishes in December, but the car industry also wants a slice of his fame. The marketing departments tell us that the white-bearded old man is a great influencer and the ideal brand ambassador. No wonder Santa's phone rings every three minutes and some "Chief Influencer Mangagement Officer" (CIMO) is trying to sell the good man a car. Porsche has the long-legged 911 or the Cayenne, Lamborghini an off-road Huracan or the Urus. At Mercedes, you can have almost anything with a combustion engine or electric drive, and the same goes for BMW. And so on and so forth.
Santa may feel flattered, but he has his own opinion on the means of transportation. Above all, he wants his vehicle to be practical, light and affordable, he tells the suppliers. He wanted to maximize the payload for the parcels and also had to be able to get through narrow forest paths, especially as he naturally wanted to use his budget for the presents and not the means of transport ...
After much deliberation, he finally opts for a Citroën Méhari, a vehicle that is not quite as fresh as a daisy, but which meets his specifications exactly. After all, Santa has enjoyed open-top driving since his sledding days, and the all-purpose car's easy-to-clean bodywork inside and out appeals to him, especially as he knows that he could also convert the Méhari to electric power in an emergency if the towns would otherwise ban his access. And of course he doesn't want to do that to the children, namely that they would have to miss out on presents because he is not allowed or able to drive ...
