Vintage and classic car drivers would like to fill up with synthetic fuels (Question of the week)
As an alternative to fossil fuels, intensive research is currently being carried out into synthetic fuels, so-called eFuels. They could soon be appearing at our filling stations. This naturally raises the question of whether classic and vintage car drivers would also use them and under what conditions.
This topic was addressed in a " question of the week" . Specifically, the question was: Will you drive your classic car on synthetic fuel?
535 Zwischengas readers responded and more than half could imagine filling up with eFuels if the price difference was less than 30 euro-cents (or centimes) per liter and there was no risk of damage to the vehicle. Over 70 percent would even opt for eFuel if the price difference was 10 euro cents/cents or less.
24.9 percent would stick with conventional fuel as long as it was on offer.
And 3.9 percent could not reconcile any of the answers with their opinion.
