The last exit

The days are getting shorter, the nights longer. The weather fairy is already talking about snowfall limits just a few hundred meters above your own home. There's no denying it, the classic car season seems to be coming to an end.
When a few warming rays of sunshine appear, you suddenly think about driving the classic car out of the garage again. When was the last time it was actually given a run, the guilty conscience calls out. It really needs to warm up again before the long winter. Who knows how long we'll have to wait until next spring. And now is still a good time to go for a spin, as the roads have neither been salted nor are seriously wet.
And so we are soon sitting behind the wheel, enjoying the six-cylinder soundtrack and thinking, why didn't we do this last weekend?
Maybe it was the last drive of the year, but maybe we'll be lucky and we'll get another warm spell of late fall before the snow and ice finally take over. It would be all too nice if we could take the old car out again in 2016 ...
