Of course, even today there are still full parking lots with hundreds of cars, including new cars parked side by side. But if you were to take a similar photo today, it would look like a black and white picture. The vehicles would mainly be sprayed in black, silver, anthracite or perhaps white, but not in red, yellow, green or blue like almost 40 years ago, when this picture was taken with Ford Fiesta cars waiting to be delivered.
The color palette of the first Fiesta vintage was also exceptionally diverse, as can be seen here. Not that there were very many colors, but they were very different. There was no silver in four different shades back then.
